Meet Jenny
Meet JennyFoP Chair
Hi, I’m Jenny.

We joined the school three years ago when Annabelle started in Reception. Now I have, Annabelle in Year 3, Josie in Reception, and Fliss in Beehive. I am delighted to be part of the new Friends of Pennthorpe committee, taking on the role of Treasurer. In addition to overseeing finances, I am responsible for coordinating dates and logistics for all our events, working closely with the school events and estates team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Outside of school, I stay active in the local community by running one of the Beaver colonies at 1st Rudgwick Scout Group, which I find incredibly rewarding. And In the time I have left, I work as an airline pilot for easyJet, flying people across Europe.

Meet Michelle
Meet MichelleFoP Vice Chair
Hi, I’m Michelle Disley.

I’ve been part of the Pennthorpe community for nearly five years. I’m mum to Penny in Year 4 and Demelza in Beehive. I’m thrilled to be joining the Friends of Pennthorpe as Vice Chair, where I’ll be helping to organise events and using my 20 years of marketing experience to support our communications.
I also run the Pennthorpe Eagles parents’ netball team, which is one of my favourite parts of school life! Outside of FOP, I’ve recently stepped away from my corporate marketing career to run our family business, Disley Builders Ltd.
I’m really excited for the year ahead and to help make Pennthorpe’s events even more fun, inclusive, and memorable for our wonderful community.

Hi, I’m Clare Ruaux.

Mum to Annabelle in Year 3 and Olivia in Year 1. I’ve been a teacher since 2011 and am currently Head of Business A Level at Collyer’s in Horsham. Fridays are my day off, which means I can fully commit to all things FOP, and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in as the Friends of Pennthorpe Secretary.

I’m excited to bring my organisational skills and experience from education to the role, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Most of all, I’m thrilled to be supporting the wonderful Pennthorpe community and helping to make our events even more enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.
