Hello 👋🏼 Im Nick,

Dad to Ethel [Ettie] in Year 3, and have been at Pennthorpe for 5yrs. Privileged to take the leadership role of Chair – Guiding the Charity in fulfilling its mission for Pennthorpe.

My role includes, Leadership and Governance, Strategic Planning, Fundraising and Financial Oversight, Stakeholder Engagement, Event and Project Coordination, Advocacy and Representation and overall support for the Senior Leadership Team! Most important of all, set on making this fun and inclusive.

Outside of FoP you will find me as the Commercial Director at Saunders Markets Limited – Outdoor Markets and Event Company, specialising in Markets [Indoor and Out], Food Halls, Food and Drink Festivals and Operator of the two largest destination Markets in the UK.

Director at Altus Event Services – Private Security Contractor, specialising in Close Protection of Personnel and Assets.

Hi, I’m Danielle,

Mum to Ethan Year 3, Maisey Year 1 and Florence in Beehive. Very excited to be working with with FoP. My role is looking after the Second Hand Uniform Shop and supporting and helping Nick and the Team.

I’m also a Director of a property company working with East Sussex Councils supporting their housing division.

Hi I’m Vix,

Mummy to Camelia in year 3. We’ve been at Pennthorpe for nearly 6 years now and having seen the amazing work FOP do to support the school I was keen to get involved this year. I am co-vice chair with Danielle and i’m helping out with the comms and anything FOP needs a hand with!

Before becoming a mum I was contracting and my last role was as a director at a bank working in business projects. But now outside of school, you’ll find me socialising, mainly with our year, although that’s extending thanks to the close knit community of Pennthorpe(!) and generally doing everyday mum things! Any questions re FOP please feel free to say hi if you see me.

Hi, I’m Jenny.

We joined the school three years ago when Annabelle started in Reception. Now I have, Annabelle in Year 3, Josie in Reception, and Fliss in Beehive. I am delighted to be part of the new Friends of Pennthorpe committee, taking on the role of Treasurer. In addition to overseeing finances, I am responsible for coordinating dates and logistics for all our events, working closely with the school events and estates team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Outside of school, I stay active in the local community by running one of the Beaver colonies at 1st Rudgwick Scout Group, which I find incredibly rewarding. And In the time I have left, I work as an airline pilot for easyJet, flying people across Europe.

Hi I’m Emma,

I have been at Pennthorpe for nearly 9 years. I have Felix is Yr 8, Harry in Yr 6, Caspar in Yr 2 and Elodie about to join honeypot. I have been involved with volunteering for FoP for many years and have now taken on the role of Secretary – One of my roles will be coordinating volunteers for all our different events, so please speak to me if you’d like to get involved!
